Community acupuncture is an affordable, natural, and effective way to relax and experience relief from a wide range of health issues.
Like private acupuncture, community acupuncture uses fine, hairlike needles to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms. From back pain to insomnia, indigestion to anxiety, acupuncture can provide both symptomatic relief and healing.
Appointments are low-cost and sliding scale, held in a small, quiet group setting, where participants can enjoy up to an hour of rest in their recliner of choice.
How to prepare:
Needles are typically placed in the head, ears, and below the elbows and knees, so it’s best to wear stretchy or loose-fitting clothes.
Please feel free to bring your own earphones, earplugs (snoring is typical!), or comfort items, like blankets and pillows. Blankets will also be available at fünketown.
Be sure to turn your phone on silent or airplane mode before entering the building, and be conscious of others — treatments may already be underway when you come inside. A brief, quiet, one-on-one conversation with your acupuncturist will take place before needling.

Morgan Cross (Align Acupuncture)
Morgan’s journey into acupuncture began nearly ten years ago, when a chronically painful back led her to book her very first appointment. Discovering that acupuncture was not only an extremely effective pain-reliever and tension-liquifier, but a great help with many other issues — like sleep, anxiety, and poor circulation — her curiosity sparked. She began reading books on the fascinating, nature-based principles of Chinese medicine, before officially embarking on her acupuncture education in 2020.
In 2022, Morgan graduated summa cum laude from Pacific Rim College’s Diploma of Acupuncture program. She has since had the pleasure of giving over 900 treatments in community acupuncture and private acupuncture settings. This simple, natural, and effective medicine holds nearly endless applications, and Morgan believes that it should be accessible to everyone — therefore, she is passionate about removing barriers wherever possible.
Growing up on Vancouver Island, Morgan is grateful and honoured to spend her life on traditional and unceded W̱SÁNEĆ territory. When she’s not poking people, you’ll find her reading, writing, and hanging out in the woods with her adorable rescue, Sunny.
Morgan is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) with the CCHPBC.
