Learn more about June

June is a C-IAYT (certified yoga therapist), RYT500 (Advanced Teacher of Yoga) and Franklin Method Level 1 Educator. But even though she has practiced many styles of yoga for most of her life, she came to teaching later in life after she retired from her career as a realtor. She has always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. She used to puzzle over questions such as why older people lost their mobility, why soccer players tended to have so many recurring knee injuries and why lower back pain was so common.

After doing a few yoga teacher training programs, she was finally inspired to start teaching after being introduced to an awesome prop called the Back Mitra. Experiencing this prop (even though she has never experienced any back issues) and delving into the theory behind this prop totally changed the way she looked at the human body and its potential. This was only the start of more exciting discoveries that seem too valuable not to be shared. June continues to be first and foremost a student. She is currently studying the Franklin Method.
